New York Mets Jose Reyes Injured again

Dominican shortstop Jose Reyes withdrew yesterday from the Mets game against Atlanta due to a contracture in the left hamstring, the same as you left last month on the disabled list.

It is not clear how Reyes got injured,

currently the dominican is the leader of National League batting.

Yesterday he was scheduled a CT at the Hospital for Special Surgery.

The four-time All-Star missed more than two weeks in July due to a strained left hamstring, the latest in a long list of injuries to his legs.

Reyes, 28, has been one of the most complete players this year and could become a free agent after finishing the current season.

Reyes began the day as leading the NL with a .337 batting average and 80 runs.

He hit 16 triples and has 50 games with more than one hit: both are the highest figures in the majors.
