Ronaldo Retires from Soccer

Brazilian striker Ronaldo who announced his retirement from the court, leaving the game with the title of top scorer in World Cup history, which hardly miss the World Cup in Brazil in 2014.

The three-time considered the best player in the world by FIFA scored 15 goals in four World Cups he played in USA in 1994 (which did not step on the court), France in 1998 (4), Japan and South Korea 2002 (8) and Germany in 2006 (3).

Of the currently active players most likely to take the crown at the World Cup in Brazil is the German international Miroslav Klose, scorer of the 2006 World Cup and who will be 36 in 2014 so difficult to attend a new appointment.

Klose scored nine goals in the World Cup and five in last year's World Cup in South Africa, so you need a target to match Ronaldo and two to overcome.

The other two players still among the top 30 scorers in the world and can snatch the title in Brazil are the Italian Christian Vieri, who has 9 goals, and Spanish and world champion David Villa, with 8 goals.

The three goals scored in Germany, his last World Cup, allowed the 'Phenomenon' overcome the historical mark for 32 years on the 'Torpedo' Gerd Muller, who scored 14 in the Cups of 1970 and 1974.

The FIFA world player of 1996, 1997 and 2002 also exceeds the list of strikers Klose (14), the legendary Frenchman Just Fontaine (13), his famous compatriot (12) and German Jürgen Klinsmann (11).
