Frenchman Romain Grosjean, who raced in Formula 1 for Renault in 2009, yesterday announced his return to the discipline for 2011 as the team's third driver for Renault Lotus.
"2011 is the year of return to a position as third driver for Renault Lotus and a full season in GP2 Asia and GP2 with DAMS team, " said Grosjean, who believes he can get a short term position in the race driver Formula 1.
"Being third driver can get a lot of experience, being in the paddock, seeing the people, understand what was missing in my first time in Formula 1 ", he added.
