Dennis Rodman induced to NBA Hall of Fame

Figure former power forward Dennis Rodman lived a very special day to show the human side and sentimental during the act of introducing a new member of the Hall of Fame Basketball joining of the great legends of sport basket.



Along with Rodman, nine members, among whom were such figures as Chris Mullin, the eight-time NBA champion, Tom "Satch" Sanders, Artis Gilmore and Lithuanian Arvydas Sabonis, also lived his big night of consecration.



Rodman, who was the last to give his speech, again surprised, but this time not because of his eccentricities, has starred in some quite the contrary to show the human side and sentimental a person who suffered since childhood.



The former player of the Detroit Pistons, his first professional team that won two league titles, was grateful to his coaches and apologized to his family for the defects.



Rodman, who during the speech had to stop talking to the emotion does not betray him, said he regretted not being a better parent, and praised his coaches for being a father to him after his own left when I was a kid and then never had a relationship with him.



The winner of five championship rings in the NBA, which used two costumes for the event, said his appearance was all an element of "illusion," he liked because he's funny.



Rodman thanked Commissioner David Stern, and the community in the NBA, if only for allowing him to be in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall building of Fame.

Rose NBA MVP

The NBA star Derrick Rose from Chicago Bulls won the MVP of the year, the NBA announced today.

Rose officially became the youngest player to win the MVP award and joined Michael Jordan as the only members of the Bulls that have taken the award.

Rose had a spectacular season, which led to Chicago to make the best record in the league.

In a vote of journalists, Rose received 113 first place votes. Dwight Howard of Orlando, second, LeBron James, Miami, third, Kobe Bryant, Lakers, fourth and Kevin Durant, Oklahoma, fifth.

Thibodeau Best NBA Coach

Tom Thibodeau was selected as the 'Coah of the Year' in the NBA after leading the Chicago Bulls to 62 wins in his debut at the helm of a team.

A source with knowledge of the selection on Sunday told The Associated Press that Thibodeau had won the award. The NBA held a press conference in Chicago on Sunday afternoon.

Thibodeau, who was assistant coach in the league for nearly two decades, leveled regular season victories mark set by Paul Westphal campaign with Phoenix in 1992-93.

Finally
given the chance to lead a team after spending three years as a contributor to Doc Rivers in Boston.


Thibodeau came to Chicago in June to succeed Vinny Del Black. With a new roster, the Bulls achieved a 62-20 record in that equaled his best time since Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen won their sixth championship in the 1997-98 season.

Chicago did this even though Carlos Boozer, one of the major acquisitions, and Joakim Noah were out for injuries during important stages of the campaign.
